Field to Table Markets

Arlington Community Farmers Markets: The Weekend of June 28th

Farmers Markets at
Lubber Run | Fairlington | Cherrydale | Westover

For the Weekend of June 28th/29th

☀️Is the heat advisory getting to you? Don't let dehydration ruin your day! Remember to drink water BEFORE you feel thirsty – that's your body's signal it's already running on low! Keep a water bottle handy and sip throughout the day. All markets have a water cooler or fountains for refills. For an extra boost, enjoy hydrating foods like watermelon or cucumber slices. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and beat the heat safely.

🌈HAPPY PRIDE Month from Your Farmers Market Family! 🌈

At the heart of our market is community — and that means everyone. Whether you're here for fresh produce, handmade goods, or just a warm smile, know this: You are welcome here. We celebrate love in all its beautiful forms and stand proudly with our LGBTQIA+ neighbors, friends, and families.

💖We love love. We support equality. We celebrate YOU.

Arlington Art Truck

Free Art Project with the Arlington Art Truck

The Arlington Art Truck stops at the Fairlington Farmers Market! Meet local artists Zofie King & Michele Montalbano who will guide you to create cyanotypes, a photographic print technique that uses the power of the sun. Together, we'll collect organic items found on the grounds of the Fairlington Community Center, like leaves or small sticks, and then we'll use special blue film paper to make natural collages with the sun.

This art project turns natural materials into beautiful art, in the same way that composting transforms organic waste into valuable soil & mulch for gardens. While you create your art project, chat with a representative from the Arlington County Solid Waste Bureau who will teach you about the Arlington food scrap collection program and composting.

Master Gardeners

From 9AM-11AM, visit the Extension Master Gardeners in the garden and at the plant clinic tent to get your plant questions answered.
